About Lizzy Maurno, LCPC
I strive to create a therapeutic space where you can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with your innate capacity for healing. Together, we gently explore the patterns, wounds, and protective strategies that have shaped you—honoring how they’ve helped you survive while creating space for something new. My intention is to help you cultivate self-trust and build a life that feels grounded, alive, and aligned with who you are.
I enjoy working with adults navigating complex trauma and PTSD, eating disorders, and overwhelming emotional patterns. I’m especially passionate about supporting those feeling stuck in people-pleasing, perfectionism, or toxic and traumatic relationships.
My approach is intuitive and integrative, drawing from Internal Family Systems, attachment and psychodynamic theory, Jungian/Shadow Work, and somatic practices. My work is rooted in feminist, anti-racist, sex-positive, and LGBTQ+affirming values.
Outside of therapy, I’m a lover of astrology, breathwork, gardening, and I share my home with two beautiful cats.
